at the terminal, type:
vim ~/.vimrc then press enter
then press i to change to insert mode and key in:
colo blue
next press the [esc] and type :wq to save the file.
the default available theme are as follow:
blue delek evening murphy ron torte
darkblue desert koehler pablo shine zellner
default elflord morning peachpuff slate
